More of April...

So April has come and gone, but here's some more of the month of rain.

Isn't it true that April showers bring May flowers? It seems like Mother Nature is teasing us with the rain and showers. Rain, please be gone!
So April was full of birthdays, Spring Break, St. George, Easter, my cousin's wedding... so here's a recap of the rest of the month...

Easter
We went to St. George for Spring Break and got home at about 1:00 AM Sunday morning. Kids were tucked in bed and the Easter Bunny went to work. Eggs needed to be filled and scattered all through the house; Easter morning was a hit.
After the Easter Egg hunt and church, we had The Rich's, the Burtons, the Larsons, and Jen/Zaden over for a 2nd Easter Egg hunt and dinner.

Sommer's Wedding
Sommer and Drew were married in the Salt Lake Temple; even though it was a cold day, Sommer looked so beautiful and they looked so happy together.

After the wedding most of the wedding party met over at the Lion House for lunch. Here's a picture of Tiffany and her family (isn't she gorgeous?):

Pre-Wedding Activities
The day before the wedding Sommer's fiancé treated everyone to lunch @ Goodwood (brownie points for Drew!!) We've never really had a chance to meet Drew, but the more we got to know him the more we liked him. He's a great guy!

Taco Stand-Style Dinner Party:

Sommer's Bridal Shower:

Movies with Wayne and Bob:
I have the best uncles in the world. My uncle Bob is a riot he just makes us all laugh uncontrollably.

Shooting guns:
Before Bob left we all wanted to go out and shoot some guns before the party came to an end.

Out with Friends
Fight Night: We met Jen, Zack, Doug and a few others at Applebees to watch the UFC fights:

Old Axis Crew:
My friends from the recruiting days at Axis still keep in touch and we always love hanging out with this group (Mark & Julie, Casey & Nicole).

Signs of Spring

This Winter has be a looong Winter. But we have had doses of Spring and those warm sunny days have been so nice. We try to soak up the sunshine whenever we have the chance to.

All things in bloom:

Riding Bikes:

And here are some more pictures of my cute kids, family, and friends...

Cayden's first smooch:
We went to Joe's with some friends and their little girl, Kiera (all my boys think she's so cute) wanted to ride with us on our way to go get yoguart. She and Cayden shared a few kisses on the way.

Typical Saturday: Costco and Training Table. It's our little routine...

Nicklecade with Tif and her boys:

A proud moment for Jordan:
Jordan has vacuumed the floors, wiped windows, cleaned the cars for an entire year and he managed to save up about $50.00 for a 4-wheeler. He didn't quite have enough to buy his 4-wheeler but Jared made some arrangements so he was able to help him buy this for our sand dunes trip. He can not even wait...

Jordan and Grandma, playing games:

Jared and the boys, just watching a game:

Little Weekend Get-Away
My Aunt Laurie was SO sweet to come up and stay with our boys so we could sneak away for part of the weekend. We stayed at the Anniversary Inn and it was so nice. We hung out at the Gateway, saw Limitless, had dinner at Faustina, went to Park City and walked Main St., had pizza, etc. We usually skip all the art galleries in PC because we have 3 little monkeys hanging on us. We just had a blast hanging out together.. no kids :-) Thank you so much Aunt Laurie!!

Happy Birthday Danny!
Emily Kooyman get the award for "Best Suprise Birthday" ever; she had friends fly in from all over, and spent who knows how many hours getting things ready and setting up for Danny's big day. It was awesome.

Zoom Restaraunt in Park City with the Machons:

I'm so backed up on posting.. still need to work on Sommer's wedding, Easter, etc. - but this one went on and on and on... so more later.
It's been a crazy month!
