Happy 2nd Birthday Austin!

I can't believe my little peanut is already TWO. It feels like I just brought him home from the hospital and I feel like he's still my little baby boy. I want to capture every laugh and put it in a bottle and that sweet little Tickle Me Elmo voice... I just love my little Austin.
Austin has been such a little angel and has brought so many wonderful blessings into our home. Some things I love about my Austin:
I love when he walks the room and says, "Hi Mama... bye Mama" and waves his two middle fingers to greet me. I love his quiet little Elmo voice and that cute belly laugh that is so unique and so contagious! I love how sensitive he is and how determined he is to get what he wants. He's relentless! If he wants me to come and see something he'll pull on my leg or shirt until he gets his way.. but he does it so sweetly. I love his big brown eyes and those long eyelashes and when he sleeps he just looks like an angel. I love his pronunciations of words like "Ni-Ni" (for Indy), "Ja-Ja" (for Jordan), "Peas" for please, etc. I love how much he loves and adores his big brother. He wants to go everywhere with him and he's so sad when Jordan leaves. He's so sweet with Cayden; whenever he sees him his face lights up and he says "BeBe" and likes to pet Cayden's head. I love my little peanut and I can't believe he's already TWO. Here's some pictures of my baby boy's big day:

Summer Days, Draper Days, and Birthdays!

Draper Days: we started they day by going to the Draper Parade, then we went to Grandma's house for a family get-together, and ended the day by going to Draper Park and letting the kids jump around in the bounce houses, eating kettle corn, and watching the fireworks with my Aunt Laurie and Uncle Wayne. What a day!!

Corbin's 4th Birthday! Corbin had a very cool pirate birthday party and these guys went all out to make it fun for the kids. Happy Birthday to our little buddy!

And another birthday: Happy Birthday, Elaina!

Danny and Emily invited us to go to their neighborhood pic-nic/party (there was a clown, face painters, and food!). Jordan's friend, Dane, came with us and we just had fun seeing our friends and letting the kids run freely.

Jordan and Jackson have been taking swimming lessons together these past few weeks and they just love it. They are great little swimmers!

Jordan's favorite place to eat (Red Lobster); he doesn't really care about the food but he just likes to check out the lobsters in the tank. Since Jordan brings this place up quite a bit, I thought I'd make a note of it so we all remember how much Jordan loves checking out those lobsters.

My poor little baby boy; he's been the wasp and hornet fighter and has had no fear of these little beasts until this past week. He and Jared go out and find bees and wasps to kill; Jordan will tell the bee, "little bee... come here.. my daddy has a prize for you..." and Jared will zap that little bee with the spray. There was one wasp that was not a happy camper and got Jordan on the chest and on the finger.
So that's a snapshot of what our little family has been up to these past few weeks (more to come.. I have another birtday that I need to pay tribute to - my cute little bug Austin). So I'll work on that soon.
Fun summer days... Ahhh!

My Family in Town

I was so very lucky to have my mom with us for an entire week, and Kent, Carly, and Amy with us for part of the week visiting us and playing with our little boys. We had so much fun. Kent and Carly are expecting their little girl in just a few months, so it was a real treat to have them come all the way up here from AZ to be with us and see the new baby! Grandma spent so much time playing with our boys, playing "Dragon", holding Cayden, and Kent, Carly, and Amy were just the best Aunts/Uncle to my boys. Thank you all so much for being here with us and spending time with our family. It meant the world to us to have you here!

My mom treated all of us to Chilis one night (and thanks to Amy, too; Amy waits tables at the Chili's in Mesa so she hooked us up with a cool discount) Thanks Mom and Amy!

Tiffany, Coby, Corbin and Jaden came over, and Aunt Laurie, Uncle Wayne, and Som came over to see the family and show off that CUTE baby boy.. (our boys are just 16 days apart!) The boys played some basketball, Aunt Som wrestled with the kids on the trampoline, and we got to sing happy birthday to my mom, Amy (19 Years Old on the 22nd!) Austin, Corbin, Wayne and Laurie. Sort of a catch-all birthday party for most everyone there. We had so much fun having the whole family there.

The girls roasting some s'mores out by the fire pit; I loved having my family in town and just spending time talking around the fire. There's just nothing better than this!

My family having a pic-nic at Deer Creek; funny story! Just enjoying the beautiful weather...

My boys playing in the garage... wishing we were at the Sand Dunes!

We went down to Mapleton (Jared's good friend who lives down there invited us to be in a car show and bring the chopper; we saw some cool cars/bikes and had a BBQ)

My mom and I went for a walk and took the kids to the park...

Here's Jordan and Austin in their Dragon Slayer gear; my mom became the "Dragon" and Jordan would look for her everyday so she could play the Dragon Slayer game (yes, those are my dishes). He just had so much fun playing with Grandma and she was so much fun to have around.

This was quite the site! The morning that my mom's flight left we woke up to this:
Mom, Kent, Carly, and Amy, I'm SO glad you guys were able to visit us and I miss you all so very much. Wish you were closer by. Love you TONS and hope to see you all again very soon.
