We were lucky enough to share our Bear Lake adventure with Jared's parents and his little sister (Jen), boyfriend (Zach), and little boy (Zaden) made it up for part of the trip as well. It was a fun weekend.

Beeaauutiful Bear Lake
This place has always been a special spot for our family. When Jared and I first met he took me to Bear Lake with some friends and I still remember sitting next to Jared on a rock looking at that bright blue water and just thinking... I think I love this guy. And oh, I was so right! We've been going to Bear Lake ever since and we SO love this place.

11 Years and loving it!
We just celebrated our 11-year anniversary and I just can't even put it into words how I feel; I guess I just feel lucky. I love Jared so much and I'm so grateful that he's mine.
My sweet sister-in-law, Wendy, watched our 3 little boys (I've never been away from Cayden, so this was a big step!); but they were in such good hands. Jordan and Austin had so much fun while we were gone and I think she just spoiles them when we're away! THANK YOU WENDY!!!!
So to celebrate our day we went and stayed up at Hotel Park City, laid out in the sun for a few hours, and then had dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. The weather was just perfect and we had such a great time.
The next day we had lunch on Main St., checked out the car show, and then played golf @ Tuhaye, and wrapped up the day with dinner @ Zermatt in Midway. It was a great getaway and such a fun way to spend our anniversary.
Provo 1/2 Marathon My best friend, adorable cousin, practically my sister - Tiffany, has become quite the runner and she ran a 1/2 marathon in Moab not too long ago. We thought it would be fun to run a 1/2 marathon together down the Provo Canyon. We both have so many great memories there and that was where we first started out here in UT. So it was just a great idea. I love my little Tif so much and I just think the world of her. She really inspires me to be a better person. She has the best attitude and it's impossible to not fall in love with her once you meet her. So it was a great day and I even got to run up and see my little group of cheerleaders (my boys!) on the trail and then Jordan nearly attacked me at the end of the race. That was the best feeling in the world.

Tuesday Nights: This is the one night during the week that I'll let Jordan and Austin stay up as late as they want to; they love to sit and watch their dad play basketball with his friends.
Parks, Pools, just being outside (isn't that what Summer is all about?)
