All about October and Halloween Fun

Our family loves Halloween and Utah is the perfect place to be this time of year. The leaves are changing, the weather is cool, and there are so many places to find the perfect pumpkin, go on a hayride, walk through a corn maze - you name it! Here's what we've been up to these past few weeks:

Barnyard Boo with Tif and the Boys:

Wheeler Farms: Tiffany and I wanted to go to Wheeler Farms and we had a few other friends meet us up there; it was a beautiful day!

Gardner Village with Tif and the Boys:

Cornbellies with the Family:

Carving Pumpkins:

Halloween Parties & Parades at School:

Oak Hollow had "Cowboy Day" so here's my little Cowboy:

Church Halloween Party:

Halloween Backyard Bash!
I've always wanted to do a spook house or something fun like that on Halloween, but it's just so crazy and busy with all of the trick-or-treaters, so this year I thought it would be fun to have a Halloween Party in our backyard. We had so many parents and kids show up, I had no idea that it would be such a great turn out. We had a few games, painted sugar cookies, had a costume contest, had tons of yummy Halloween food, Jennifer painted faces... it was just a fun night. And I had so much help (thank you Tiffany!!!), Aunt Laurie, Jennifer & Zack, Laura Sheneman, and everyone who brought snacks and treats. And my sweet hubby was such a great sport; he helped cut that plywood in all those weird angles to make a spook house and pumpkins, pick up tables, hay, and he ran quite a few errands for me while I was getting things ready. I had so much help, thanks!! It was so fun, and I think we'll do this again next year... We had a great time!

And the Grande Finale: HALLOWEEN!!!

And other October Happenings:

Family in town:Chad, Natalie, and their family stayed with us for a few days while Chad interviewed with a hospital in Utah County. We've all been crossing our fingers that he'd be able to practice out here in UT and be closer to all of us. We found out a few weeks ago that he got the job, so my little brother and his family will be moving to UT soon! We're so excited...
The Cousins:

Dinner with the whole gang:

Out with the Family:

Night out with Friends:

Cayden's toilet paper fetish: If it's quiet for more than a minute- I know where to find this little stinker. In the bathroom unravelling the entire roll of TP and shredding it into tiny pieces.

Playing with friends:

Just loving the weather; we love to watch the leaves change colors. Utah is such a beautiful place!
