Valentine's Day

Jared and I started this tradition where we trade off who gets to spoil who each year. So here's how it goes: Jared gets all the even years and I get all the odd years. It's fun to spoil but it's fun to get spoiled, too - so to make this all work we like to trade off years. It works so well. So this year we started off by going to a Valentine's Party put on by the Servers for some pre-Valentine's Day fun (and they announced that they'd soon be parents); a great party, beautifully decorated, and it was so fun to get dressed up and so many friends and neighbors.
My Valentine.
And there's nothing better than having a cute little boy like this come home with Valentine's presents; this is my favorite part: love notes from my handsome little men.
Moving on... This cute boy took me to dinner @ Tuscany
And, he's super smooth, he asked some of my girlfriends what this new Lululemon store was all about. And he went there, and he bought me some in-store credit.
And then we went there together.. and I got to go shopping. And I felt totally spoiled.
And then we kissed and made out in a church parking lot. Like we were in highschool.
And it was the best. I love my Valentine.
So next year, I already have some great ideas...

St. George in January

St. George is my favorite place to be in January. We always seem to end up here to get us through those bitter-cold winter months and it's so nice to get sunkissed for a few days; we all love sunny St. George.
This year we went down for a weekend to play golf, eat out at Pizza Factory, and I ran my 1st 1/2 marathon for the year. Not as warm as we were hoping, but still a fun trip.
