So here's what our family has been doing with our last days of August.
Bear Lake:
First of all, I owe Tiffany and Coby and Big THANK YOU for such a fun weekend up at their cabin. We had a BLAST and I'm so glad we could spend some time all of you. Jordan kept telling me that he didn't want to go back to Draper and he wanted to live at the cabin forever. He was very sad to leave and he had so much fun playing with Corbin and all of those cute kids! We had a great time.
On our way to Bear Lake:

Pineview Reservoir
We went for a drive up through Ogden Canyon and found this beautiful lake; the boys had so much fun just chucking rocks in the lake and mom and dad got to sit back and enjoy the sunshine.

The Machons joined us for a fun day at the Lake and our boys got to ride around on the tube and play in the water.

Doctor Visit:
I took this picture of Austin sleeping in the stroller while Cayden was in for his 2 month checkup.

Dinosaur Museum
Jeannie and I took our boys to the Dinosaur Museum; it was a great day until a little boy ran up and pushed (I mean - TACKLED) Austin and started hitting him out of the blue! It was so random and sudden and poor little Austin was just so upset and shocked; I pulled Austin up and away from the little boy and he just sobbed (I felt so bad for my little guy!) Other than that we had a great time at the museum.

Trip to the Zoo
Tiffany, Aunt Laurie, and our cute little boys went to the zoo for the day; I'm so glad that our boys are buds and they really love playing together.

Happy Birthday to my sweet and beautiful cousin, Tiffany. I just love you to pieces and I hope it was a great day!

Trip to the hospital
While I was at Tiff's surprise birthday party I got a call from Jared telling me that he needed to take Austin to the hospital because he cut his head open and needed stitches. Jared took Jordan and Austin to McDonalds and Austin was standing on a bench and tried to jump to another bench; he ended up tagging the other bench with his forehead. With 3 boys I'm sure this will be one of many trips to the hospital...

And here's a cute shot of my little blondie - I just love that big smile.

So that wraps up our August. Jordan just started preschool and we chose the early AM class so we've been trying to get in an early morning routine. We've still been in the summer mode and we need to make the transition over to this new schedule (meaning kids bathed and in bed by 8:30-9:00, and up by 7:15 AM) He's really excited to be back in preschool and I'm looking forward to getting back in a routine.
I'm sure my opinion will change again when the alarm clock goes off in the morning. (If only I can get this cute little baby to sleep through the nights I think I'd be the happiest girl alive!) Three months right? We're getting there, we're getting there!

It looks like you guys certainly lived up the rest of summer in spite of having a slow start. Poor little Austin had quite the month. What is it about Utah and people randomly attacking others in public (Christmas Eve at Temple Square...)? Fall is going to be great for you guys too!
Good luck with your morning routine...it's tough! We have been lucky enough to glue all our kids back together so far...that was the best invention! You guys always do a good job at making memories!!
Too much fun. We had so much fun with you guys at Bear Lake. The only bad part was that it was too quick. You got some great pictures...I hope you don't mind me stealing them! And wow...you have skills on the wake board - nice! I wish I could have seen that.
