Babies, Boys, Bowling, Bikes, and Boats...

So it's been a busy few weeks! First and foremost, I want to congratulate my brother and his wife for becoming new parents today!! I'm so excited for them and so happy that they welcomed a new baby girl into the world early this morning. Congratulations Kent and Carly!!!
Secondly, I just want to say how grateful I am to be a mom. Even though my days are spent chasing little boys around, managing little emotions, playing the judge on what's fair and not fair, who's in need of a spanking, who's in need of a hug, etc. etc. I really love being a mom and I couldn't have asked for a better calling in life! I love my boys...

Jordan has been wanting to go bowling for quite some time and so one morning before preschool we told him we could go after school. He was so excited! So after school we went down to Provo to run some errands and then went to Fat Cats. I think he's hooked.

Kirk, Stacey, Me, and Jared all went out for Sushi on the bikes. Motorcycles and Sushi - does it get any better than that? It was a fun date night :-)

We went to the lake with the Merish's last week and it was a beautiful day; glassy water and perfect weather. Jordan went in the tube with Dane and Kabe and all three boys were cracking up and telling us to go faster. So the minute Jordan let go of the tube we hit a big wave and he went flying out. I think it terrified him at first, but then the other boys were giving him high-fives and then he thought it was a pretty cool trick. Way to initiate the poor kid!

We were invited to a humanitarian fundraising event at the Robert Workman home (Roberts Crafts/Provo Craft). Beautiful home and very cool cars!
Here we are with our friends, the Shurians (and below - Thurl Bailey; he's much taller in person).

Park City: One of our family's favorite spots.

Midway: We went up to Swiss Days and it was cloudy and rainy on the way there, but the rain clouds passed by and it turned out to be an ok day. I love all of the arts/crafts and the kids found some bounce houses to play in. We ran into Jared's mom and dad at Swiss Days so the kids got to see G&G Larson for a while and then we went to the Bear Dance Cafe for lunch.

Wheeler Farms: We had a little play day at the park with Tiffany, Amber, and Aunt Laurie, Corbin, and little Jaden. I'm so glad we live so close and I love that our kids are buds. Such cute kiddos!

I had to take this one; I was at Wal-Mart today and my little Austin had been to the gym, went to lunch, and then we hit Wal-Mart. I guess he'd had enough for one day and he fell asleep sitting straight up. I'm a dork, I pulled out my camera for just a second to snap a quick shot; it was just too cute to pass up.

Soooo sad for the Tripps. Did you see on Sarah's FB there are some pics of the baby? What heartache.
