One Year Ago:

Cayden's 1st Birthday
We had some fun in the sun, a BBQ, and a very messy piece of birthday cake for our birthday boy. I'm not sure if he'll remember any of this, but chances are he won't so we took plenty of pictures for the photo albums :-)
Wendy (aka: Aunt Wee): kids - don't mess with Aunt Wee, she's not afraid to use that hose! I love how Wendy jumps right in to the action and plays with those kids. She's just the best and we all love her!!
Happy Birthday Sweetheart; we all love you so very much!
Other Stuff...
So we don't have a lot of free time around here. Seriously, we chase kids around all day. And it's a good thing; we absolutely love it. But I don't have much time to sit down, upload my pictures (*ahem - back up my pictures, I really need to!); tackle my "to-do" list that really does need some attention. I'll get around to it, soon... But for now I'm updating my blog because I think it's fun and I like to document our whereabouts. It's my excuse for a journal :-)
So here's the latest and greatest kodak moments @ the Larsons:
Day at the Movies - Shrek (Jackson, Austin, and Jordan):
Playing at the Park:
Jordan, Austin, and Dane: (playing crack-the-egg)
Zoo Day! With Tiffany and her adorable boys! Yes, that is a really blurry picture; that poor camera had enough (I finally had to break down and buy a new camera). Did we have rain that day, why yes we did! Did we have so much fun anyway, of course! Every day with Tiffany is fun, rain or shine. She just makes me smile.
Jordan and Austin @ Draper Park: Don't bother Jordan while he's at the park; he'll tell you he's exercising.
Those cute boys! This was our last stop at the Machons before they left for TN. Jackson's dad is in the military and he's gone for several months, so Jeannie and Jackson are spending the summer with her family back East. We were sad to see them go and we'll miss seeing them all summer long...
Just Playing in the backyard:
Jared going on a chopper ride
And then home for some playtime (yeah, I really do love this guy!)
Memorial Day
We spent the first part of Memorial Day @ This is the Place Heritage Park with Grandma & Grandpa Larson. After we left the Park we went to Uncle Layne & Aunt Diane's for a BBQ and some playtime with their grandkids.
Park Day / Walk on the Jordan River Trail:
Jordan wanted to open a store, and so he did. He sold our lunch to his little brother.
BBQ/S'mores in the Backyard:
Yup, that would be Austin stripping down and then taking a power nap on the chair; he runs and runs and then crashes anywhere, anytime, clothed or naked.
All in a Day Part One:
So just a snapshot of our day: went to the gym, went to cookie cutters, took a shower, met up with my adorable cousin for a play day at the park, went to Costco (2 year old fell asleep under all of the bread and woke up because things tumbled down on his head), came home and had some company over for dinner.
All in a Day Part Two: And here we go again.. preschool, gym, home, bookstore, old navy, chick-filet, back home, to Jared's softball game (and my boys love cheering him on!) and then to Red Robbin. Whew!
And lastly, but not leastly, my oldest son, Jordan graduated from Preschool today! It was a special day for Jordan; I'm so proud of him and how much he's learned this year. It still freaks me out that he'll be in kindergarten this fall. Again, where does the time go?!?

Oh my goodness, I can't believe he's 1 already! It really just seems like yesterday we were just there seeing your little newborn. It looks like you had great fun celebrating and have stayed busy lately. Can't wait to see you guys again in 2 weeks!
