Birthday Boy! Happy 3rd Birthday AUSTIN!

I can't believe my little boy is already three! I've been looking at baby pictures and just remembering how small and sweet he was when we first brought him home. I used to call him my little peanut and we all used to call him "baby Austin". We finally dropped that name when Cayden joined our family, but he'll always be my Baby Austin. I love this little boy for so many reasons. He's so full of energy and so full of life, but still so sweet and tender-hearted. He giggles and holds his belly and just laughs at the smallest things. He's so easily distracted because he wants to see and touch every little thing; the world is so interesting to him and he just wants to take it all in. Jordan loves to be with his little brother and even though they are constantly teasing each other and wrestling with each other they are inseparable and they always want to be together.
Austin loves his daddy; he and Jared have a really special bond and Jared is so patient with him. Jared's favorite part of the day is when he tucks Austin in at night and for 2-3 minutes they'll say "I love you.. this much" and Austin just giggles and giggles. We love you Austin and we're so glad you're a part of our family! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

And since I'm in a posting mood - I guess I'll throw the rest of July out here so I don't get backed up. I must say, July is by far the busiest month for us. Birthdays, family parties, parades, the 4th, our anniversary (still coming up!) There's just so much going on this month.
Draper Days: Parade, Family Reunion, and Carnival:








Friends: Our favorite thing about the summertime is being with friends! A bunch of girls from my old neighborhood came over for a play day; I'm so glad that we all keep in touch after all these years...



Brother's Day:
Jordan's been asking me about this lately; we've celebrated Mother's Day and Father's Day, but when are we going to have Brother's Day? I thought about this and decided that we should have a Brother's Day. Jordan drew Austin a picture, they agreed to share with each other all day long, and they got to decide on what we were going to do that day. So here it goes: they wanted to go to the lake, eat pizza, and have some candy. And so we did...
@ the Lake: Jordan wanted to learn how to wakeboard so we gave it a shot, and he did great! He rode along with me for a few minutes and decided that he wants to get a kid board so he can do it all by himself... we'll have to check into that :-)






Park City: We rode the trolley up Main St., took the boys out for pizza, and then walked up Main and found an ice cream shop. So we had a treat and that wrapped up our 1st official Brother's Day.
