Right after Santa left the house, just hours before the little munchkins found what Santa had brought for them...
Christmas Eve @ Grandma & Grandpa Larson's House:
More Christmas Stuff:
Ward Christmas Breakfast:
The Elves Gift Show:
Powell's Christmas Party:
Macy's Christmas Party:
Making Gingerbread Houses:
Christmas Cards: One of the things I love most about Christmas is seeing friends and family, and hearing about those whom we don't see everyday via Christmas cards. We put all of those cards up on our door and it's such a treat to see so many familiar faces as we come and go each day.
Jared had a trip planned to leave the country and he was in Africa for 8 days; oh, we missed him!!! But there was still Christmas things to do, treats to deliver, birthday parties to attend, so we didn't slow down one bit. I did get a little sick in between it all, and I was so glad when Jared came home.
Here's what we did while dad was away:
Day out with the boys - they played at the gym, had haircuts, went to lunch, just had fun hanging out with the boys.
Santa! Santa showed up to the VF Factory Outlets in a fire truck! We met Jessica and her kiddos there, and saw some other neighbors there, too. Another chance to tell Santa all about their Christmas wish list...
Movies with Tif and her boys: we met up to see Legend of the Gardians... I don't think we saw much of the movie but it's always a fun day with Tif! Love her, love those boys...
Chuck-E-Cheese with Jeannie and Jackson:
Christmas lights: Tiffany told me about this house that reminded me of the Grizzwalds; they went all out with a music theme and all:
Girls Night Out:
Baking Treats (we made enough treats to go through an entire Costco-sized bag of flour)! That's a lot of treats!
And while Jared was away I had a little helper; Jordan helped me deliver treats to our neighbors (and he sang Christmas songs the entire time; he's such a sweet kid!)
Valerie's Birthday @ Incredible Pizza:
Zaden's Birthday Party @ Grandma's Preschool:
My cute little boys:
And Cayden is finally ... Walking! Hey, he took his sweet time but since the day he figured it out, he refuses to sit down. He's loving his new-found abilities!
Getting ready for a white Christmas:
And now that Christmas is over, we're going to get ready for the New Year. New resolutions, new goals, a new Year.
